Provide Water Trucking to 1,500 households affected by the drought in Jariban district
Programme • 06 March 2026
Communities in Jariban District continue to face serious water shortages as drought conditions affect traditional water sources. Earlier assessments by Raad Society highlighted urgent water needs among vulnerable households. In response, Raad Society supported emergency water trucking for 1,500 households, delivering 50 water trucks (30 barrels each) to help families access water for drinking, cooking, and basic needs. While this intervention provided critical relief, the situation underscores the importance of investing in sustainable water solutions to help communities better withstand recurring drought.
